George Begg Festival 2025

The George Begg Festival is Invercargill's celebrated tribute to a golden era of Kiwi motorsport, a weekend of classic cars, retro racing, and deep southern hospitality held at Teretonga Park, the world's southernmost FIA-recognised circuit. Think wide ties, flared pants, and engines that actually roar.
My role was to develop and apply the visual identity for the 2025 festival, working within established brand guidelines whilst weaving in a fresh Italian theme a nod to the glamour and drama of La Dolce Vita motorsport. The challenge was honouring the integrity of an already-loved brand whilst giving that year's event its own distinct character.
Delivery spanned the full breadth of the festival's visual presence: managing sponsor and partner design requirements, and overseeing output across digital, print, signage, and merchandise.
