Personal Branding
Date
2026
Location
Côte d'Azur, France
A full personal brand identity developed for Thomas Burns, a young KZ2 shifter kart racing driver competing in the French Regional Championship. The project encompassed brand strategy, visual identity, and commercial positioning - culminating in a retro-inspired brand built around a bold colour palette, retro imagery and a couple of textures and patterns. Deliverables included a complete sponsorship proposition, bespoke proposal documents targeting key commercial partners, and a professional media deck — equipping Thomas with everything needed to attract and secure sponsorship ahead of the 2027 season.
More about Thomas:
20 year old British kart racer Thomas Burns, lives in France and has just become 2026 Champion of Ligue Provence-Alpes - Côte d’Azur in the KZ2 class. He started karting much later than most, but has quickly developed his skill and passion for the sport, finishing his previous 2 seasons as Vice-champion and this year clinching the top spot by 58 points.
Thomas is working towards competing in an endurance series, such as GT3. His next step towards that will hopefully lead him to race in either the Ligier or Ginetta series.
Alongside racing Thomas is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experiences through social media, with the aim of making karting more accessible. Not currently signed to a race team, Thomas and his father manage every part of his racing themselves. He has gained just over 20k followers on Instagram, with 1.4million monthly views and an astonishing engagement rate of 18.5%. Tiktok has seen slower growth, with a following of 3.5k, 91k unique viewers monthly and 17k+ interactions.
